Mark Schaeffer

Mark is a CPA and partner with 30+ years experience serving auto dealers and contractors. He is a charter member of the Driving Force Auto Consulting Group. Activities include member of Kentucky Auto Dealers Association, Greater Louisville Auto Dealers Association, and Kentucky Association of Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors, Inc. He is a past president of the Kentuckiana Chapter of Construction Financial Managers Association, Chairman of the 2011 Ohio Valley Construction Conference, and a member of the Dealer Insights editorial board.

He has competed training on ADP auto dealer computer systems. He achieved the Certified Construction Financial Professional designation in 2005.

His attendance at the 2009 NADA conference and semi-annual Driving Force meetings provide ideas to apply with clients. Past projects have included accounting computer installations and conversions for auto dealers and contractors. In the last several years he has submitted appeals of tax issues within the IRS, Kentucky Department of Revenue, Indiana Department of Revenue, and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
